Every year, thousands of Spanish hunting dogs, known as Galgo Españols, are discarded, abandoned, or brutally killed due to tradition and greed for profit.
I have made it my mission to raise awareness of this issue by creating a space where humans and animals can come together, fostering dialogue and the development of solutions.
The second structure, more secluded from the public area, serves as a haven. It houses two quarantine rooms for the temporary accommodation of two to four rescued dogs, offering various resting and retreat areas for individual use. Additionally, a sleeping niche includes a foldable wall bed that can be deployed as needed.

I have made it my mission to raise awareness of this issue by creating a space where humans and animals can come together, fostering dialogue and the development of solutions.
"Viento" (Spanish for wind) is a safe space for greyhounds, consisting of two main structures and located on the Canary Island of Tenerife, near Puerto de la Cruz, perched on a coastal cliff. At the heart of my design lies a large discussion area, equipped with versatile, custom-designed furniture.
Depending on the number of visitors and the intended use, the side shelves can double as seating benches, the table can be folded away, and a screen with a projector can be installed for presentations. A built-in box contains a toilet and kitchen, both designed with simplicity in mind.
Adaptability to the diverse scenarios that might arise in such a space is central to my design. This emphasis on flexibility is reflected in both structures, ensuring they meet the requirements of this unique environment.
About myself
Hello, I’m Nina,
I’m pleased to welcome you here! Since 2021, I have been studying Interior Architecture B.A. at the Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design in Halle, Germany. I am currently in my 7th semester. My studies have guided me through a variety of different areas – from Building in Existing Structures to Designing New Buildings and Small Architectures, Interior Construction, Spatial Function Theory, Furniture Design, and Social Design. Each of these modules has provided me with a comprehensive understanding of the diverse facets of interior architecture.
During my internship, I had the opportunity to explore the field of sustainable construction in depth. This experience profoundly influenced my mindset and work, sparking my interest in circular building methods and resource-conscious design.
On this website, I present a selection of my projects – from the early stages of my studies to current works that seamlessly combine aesthetics, atmosphere, and sustainability.
I warmly invite you to explore my projects in greater detail.
